With support from the Arts Council’s National Lottery Project Grants, Horse Box Theatre developed six new plays set to premiere at the Department in 2025. It aims to champion local talent and support new writing on the Isle of Wight.
Artist Trudie Wilson’s Developing Your Creative Practice project focused on the geology of the Isle of Wight and its surrounding landscapes. It enabled her to further develop and explore her skills as a fine artist and included her first solo exhibition at Quay Arts. The grant gave Trudie the opportunity to conduct in-depth research and develop ideas, dedicate time to studio work, and create new connections to advance her career.
