Boojum & Snark’s ‘Just the Place’ Finale Event

Funded by Arts Council England, ‘Just the Place’ is an exhibition exploring the role of placemaking in Boojum & Snark’s cultural projects.

‘Just The Place’* is a really good example of how organisations, towns, cities… and even a couple of brewers can utilise artists to create their impression of the world in which we live. Of time that has past, a time that is now, and a time that is imagined. On now in Quay Arts’ West Gallery till 8th April. Go check it out and make sure to pop along to their FREE celebratory closing event on Sat 25th Mar, 2-4pm.

CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS INCLUDE:
Teresa Grimaldi | Sarah Vardy | Lauren Fry | Sapphire Goss | Claire Speight | Maggie Sawkins | Enzo | Kathy Williams.

Many of the creative practitioners involved are from our network! So that really is something to celebrate!

* “Just the place for a Snark!” is the opening line of Lewis Carroll’s nonsense poem, The Hunting of the Snark, which he began whilst on holiday in Sandown.
