I'm a screenwriter, composer and producer and director, a former BBC Drama Script Editor where I developed ongoing TV Drama Series. With my partner, Tony Steyger, I run People Media Productions, an island based Independent TV Production Company and we supply BBC ONE SHOW with short films on an ongoing basis.
I'm currently preparing a short film 'Sea Change' that I will direct and write, again set here on the island. At People Media Productions, I develop our TV dramas and longer TV Programme ideas. I was a University Lecturer in Film and TV at Southampton Solent University and Portsmouth University. I've written four screenplays: 'Mimi', commissioned by EMDA; 'Cowboy Girls', developed by my screenwriting mentor, Anthony Minghella; 'Rumpy Pumpy!' which is a screenplay Musical based on my Stage Musical of the same name and 'The Last Chance Mommas' a feature film set here on the Isle of Wight, a romantic comedy drama. I also wrote the novel 'Eat The View', a comedy based in France amongst the vicious Ex-Pat British community which reached the Amazon Top 100 and was chosen by The Sun Newspaper as their 'E Book' of the week. The Sun wrote: 'A very funny novel with lots of truly delicious characters!'
At BBC Birmingham Drama I developed the ongoing TV drama series 'Dalziel & Pascoe' and 'Dangerfield' and the two part film 'Bad Company' and Produced the Single Film 'Seed' for BBC ONE. I've directed and produced documentaries for Channel 4 and BBC and worked as a Producer/Director for BSKYB. I began in the Theatre working with Comedians Rik Mayal and Adrian Edmondson and moved into TV Commercials. I also was represented as a Director of Pop Promos by Harry Films. I ran The Bridge Film TV Production Company in Brighton.
I have a BA Hons in Drama & American Studies - Hull University and a MA in Creative Fiction, Portsmouth University.
