Pre-dominantly self taught, photography has always been my anchor to, not just to cease moments, but to capture memory and stories. Starting with film (Kodak and Fujifilm) then later moving into Ilford film for black and white, I spent a decade in monochrome creating and self-publishing two photography books. Upon returning back to my first love in landscape, I knew I didn't want to continue on in monochrome. However, it's discipline supports the more 'autochromatic' feeling of my landscapes today.
Having spent decades visiting the Island for my autumn/winter escapes, I finally decided to take the plunge and make it my home in 2019. Now I get to witness these skies and tides in all seasons, working from my home-studio in St Lawrence.
