In October 2022, The Island Collection launched a mapping and consultation process for developing the Isle of Wight’s new Cultural Strategy at the ‘We Are Island’ conference. 75 + delegates were invited to add their initial thoughts about the future of culture on the Island.

Following this, a series of mapping workshops were held in December 2022. Great conversations were had and ideas shared. Click here to read a summary of these workshops. The project has now moved into the next phase of action planning where TIC have held the following public consultation sessions:

  • Ryde Library – Tue 28th Feb, 10:30am-4pm
  • West Wight Sports & Community Centre – Wed 1st Mar, 10:30am – 4pm

The final drop-in is at:

  • Quay Arts – Fri 10th March, 10:30am – 4pm

You can also comment on the new cultural strategy in person by attending the drop-in session – just drop in at any time (no booking necessary), bring your ideas and give your feedback on current thinking.
