Join us at Building 41 with Arts Council England Relationship Manager, for Grassroots Music in the Southwest, Rosey Brown for a talk on ACE’s Grassroots Music Sector funding.

Rehearsal and recording studios, promoters, festivals, and venues for live and electronic music performance – are vital to the music ecosystem: the people and places that support musicians to hone their craft, test new approaches, develop audiences, and gain crucial experience of live responses to their work.
The Supporting Grassroots Music fund from Arts Council England is open until March 2025 and targeted to support rehearsal and recording studios, promoters, festivals, and venues to bring live and electronic music to the public, and support the development of talent.
Come along to find out more about this fund and discuss what is needed in your area. Up to 6 bookable 121 slots are also available for organisations and individuals who might have already started preparing ideas. This is an opportunity for you to find out more about what Arts Council England do and how you can apply for funding.

- Other ACE funds: National Lottery Project Grants, and funding aimed at individual development: Developing your Creative Practice (DYCP)

Building 41 is located between Ascensos and BAE Systems just outside of Cowes. There is a bus stop very close by the entrance to the car park and Building 41 has dedicated parking right outside the building which is free to use for this event. The car park has two 7kW electric vehicle charging points, which are easily accessible by a phone app.
