The Common Space are a not-for-profit organisation based in The Bay area of Isle of Wight and part of the Arc, Artecology hub. Its purpose is to manage, restore, celebrate and create public spaces, with a special focus on its own local area, in particular the work of the Bay Coastal Community Team, Shaping The Bay.
In 2021 they created ‘The Iris Manifesto’ as a statement of intent for Sandown. The Iris Manifesto is so-named as it focuses Inspiring Revival here in Sandown and Irises stand for hope, wisdom and valour – what we all need for a brighter future.
This has been shared across many sites including Sandown’s Boojum&Snark – a fantastic one-off space in Sandown, where you can enjoy good beer and culture.
